What a wonderful time we had at our 50th reunion for the John Marshall High School, class of 1966! Jim was the MC of several of our reunions, including that one. He roped me into at least one of his crazy skits. In recent years, his correspondence with me always included silly rhymes, and he often sang to me over the phone!  He was always too busy during our school days with basketball and baseball to ever have joined the choir, however.  Jim could be secretly mischievous. He knew that I called him a “quiet subversive.”  Pepe and I always enjoyed our times with Jim and his sweet wife JAnn.  R.I.P. old friend.

I heard about Jim's passing from Gary Cronk, and I came to this site to post an announcement on the home page, and to put Jim on the In Memory page. For some reason the note didn't get sent out right away from this site. But Carol Randazzo spread the word very quickly and effectively.

We're all very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was a stallwart of our class. He was greatly admired by all of us. He was a model student and athlete and will be missed by all who knew him. Jim contributed a lot in his life, and we each hold fond memories of him.

Our thoughts & prayers go out to all your friends and family.

RIP Jim.

Jim was a special Jurist and 10th Ward lad.  He had many talents athletically, academically and a subtle personallity that only expanded as he aged.  We were teammates on JMHS baseball teams for three years, and Jim was always one of our leaders, especially on the 1965 undefeated, Section V Championship team, led by Jim, Bob Krystan, Andy Caruso. We all had played baseball together from 40&1 Little League, Pony League, American Legion ball and of course on Coach Bill Graf's teams.

Jim had much academic success, career success and then a fine family with two wonderful daughters.

Thanks for your friendship Jim, I loved our conversations over the past year, and watching you develop into a fine artist/painter right up to the last days.  Love ya buddy, rest in peace.  A Jurist to the end . . .
